Reclamation to Hold CVP Cost Allocation Study Power Workshop July 30 at Western Area Power Administration

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation’s Cost Allocation Study for the Central Valley Project will hold a Power Workshop on Thursday, July 30, at the Western Area Power Administration. The focus of the workshop is to discuss the detailed assumptions and inputs of the PLEXOS power modeling analysis. The workshop will be held:

To enter Western’s facilities, attendees will need to present a current government-issued identification card with a photograph, such as a driver’s license or passport. Attendees are asked to call 916-353-4019 and provide their names so that Western may prepare badges in advance of their arrival to facilitate entry into the building.

Individuals who are not United States’ citizens need to be cleared in accordance with Western’s security procedures in advance. Those individuals must contact Western at 916-353-4019 by June 30.

Please note that participation will be in person to better ensure a productive workshop; there will be no call-in number or Microsoft Office Live Meeting Service available.
