Reclamation Announces Negotiations with East Bay Municipal Utility District for a Long-Term Warren Act Contract

FOLSOM, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation will initiate negotiations with East Bay Municipal Utility District on a proposed long-term Warren Act contract for the storage and conveyance of non-Project water using excess capacity in Central Valley Project facilities of the American River Division. The contract is needed to facilitate a proposed water transfer agreement between Placer County Water Agency and EBMUD.

The first negotiation session will be held:

10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

The public is welcome to attend the negotiation session and will have the opportunity to provide comments to Reclamation regarding this proposed contracting action. Participation instructions and copies of the proposed draft contract will be provided at the negotiation session.

Attendees must also show a photo ID in order to obtain a visitor’s badge. If the preregistration and photo ID requirements are not met, the individual will not be allowed to attend the negotiation session. For additional information regarding the negotiation session, please contact Billingsley.
