Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for Proposed Exchange of Water between Kern-Tulare Water District, Delano-Earlimart Irrigation District and San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released final environmental documents for the proposed exchange agreement between Kern-Tulare Water District, Delano-Earlimart Irrigation District and the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors.

The exchange agreement would comprise of up to 21,000 acre-feet (11,000 Kern-Tulare and 10,000 Delano-Earlimart) previously banked Central Valley Project water for San Joaquin River water that would have been released for delivery to the Exchange Contractors by Reclamation from Millerton Lake.
