NAPA, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office, will reopen the Capell Cove Launch Ramp at Lake Berryessa effective Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. Reclamation closed the ramp Sept. 15 when drought conditions and receding water levels caused it to become unusable. Due to recent storms, lake levels have risen to the point where the Capell Cove Launch Ramp can now be re-opened.

Visitors may also use other ramps at Lake Berryessa, including those at Putah Canyon Recreation Area, Steele Canyon Recreation Area, Pleasure Cove Marina and Markley Cove Resort. Locations of these concession areas may be found on the map at www.usbr.gov/mp/ccao/berryessa/index.html.
