Negotiation Sessions Scheduled on Proposed Cachuma Project Safety of Dams Contract

The Bureau of Reclamation is beginning contract negotiations with the Cachuma Operation and Maintenance Board for repayment of 15 percent of the costs associated with corrective actions related to the needed safety of dams work at Lauro Dam.

The negotiation sessions will be held:

In Santa Barbara Wednesday, April 6, 2005 12:30 - 5 p.m. Cachuma Operation and Maintenance Board 3301 Laurel Canyon Road

An additional negotiation session has been scheduled, if necessary

Tuesday, April 26, 2005 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The sessions are to negotiate and finalize a repayment contract associated with the Safety of Dams Act of 1978, as amended in 1984 by Public Law 98-404.
