ELK CREEK, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled a seasonal closure at Stony Gorge Reservoir beginning Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, through April 2015.

Stony Gorge Reservoir is located in western Glenn County, 18 miles west of Willows, Calif. This action will allow Reclamation the opportunity to perform necessary maintenance tasks and provide time for natural resource restoration.

All camping and day use areas at Stony Gorge Reservoir will be closed. All boat use will be closed due to low water levels and safety concerns from obstacles that are exposed.
