Water Service Contracts Available for 60-Day Public Review

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation and six Central Valley Project contractors intend to execute two-year interim renewal contracts effective March 1, 2015. The existing contracts expire on Feb. 28, 2015.

The draft contracts for the cities of Avenal, Coalinga and Huron; the California Department of Fish and Wildlife; the Panoche Water District; and the San Luis Water District are available for public review at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/3404c/lt_contracts/2015_int_cts/index.html. This action is dependent on the finalization of the National Environmental Policy Act documentation and Endangered Species Act compliance. Environmental documents will be released for public review and comment, separately, at a later date.
