Final Environmental Document Released for Storage and Conveyance of Non-CVP Water from Placer County Water Agency to Westlands Water District

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released a Finding of No Significant Impact for execution of a Warren Act contract for the storage and conveyance of non-Central Valley Project water to facilitate a water transfer from Placer County Water Agency to Westlands Water District.

Reclamation proposes to enter into a one-year Warren Act contract with WWD for the storage and conveyance through federal facilities of up to 35,000 acre-feet of non-CVP water. The proposed action would help alleviate water supply shortages within WWD.
