Reclamation to Hold Public Meeting on the Central Valley Project Cost Allocation Study on Friday, July 18

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled a meeting to update the public on the current status of the Cost Allocation Study for the Central Valley Project. The focus of the meeting is to
discuss the methodology on calculating the economic benefits for irrigation and municipal and industrial water supply. An update will also be provided on development of the single purpose facility sizing model and on CalSim representation of water deliveries. The public meeting will be held:

To be allowed entry into Western’s facilities, attendees will need to produce a current government-issued identification card with a photograph, such as a driver’s license or passport. Individuals who wish to attend the meeting but are not United States’ citizens needed to be cleared by June 18 in accordance with Western’s security procedures; notification of this requirement was announced on June 9. Individuals planning to attend the meeting are asked to call 916-353-4019 and provide their names so that Western may prepare badges in advance of their arrival to facilitate entry into the building.
