Reclamation Announces Public Workshop on Municipal and Industrial Ratesetting Policy Proposed Changes

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation is hosting a public workshop to discuss proposed changes to the Municipal and Industrial Ratesetting Policy. The M&I Ratesetting Policy is considered interim and Reclamation is in the process of making updates and changes to finalize the policy.

The meeting will be held: Monday, June 23, 2014 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Federal Building 2800 Cottage Way, Room C-1001/1002 (Cafeteria Conference Room) Sacramento, CA 95825

There is a 30-day comment period to allow for public input. Comments are due close of business Wednesday, July 23. The M&I Ratesetting Policy is designed to recover reimbursable construction and operation and maintenance costs of the Central Valley Project distributed to M&I contractors for repayment. The interim M&I Ratesettting Policy can be downloaded from Reclamation’s website at: http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvp/laws.html.
