Reclamation Releases Environmental Documents for Improvements to Forest Service Fire Station at Lake Casitas

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Bureau of Reclamation has released environmental documents for public review for upgrades to the Forest Service fire station at Lake Casitas in Ventura County.

Reclamation proposes to approve the Forest Service’s desired improvements at the fire station, which include relocation of a sanitary leach line, installation of a 10,000-gallon water storage tank, clearing for additional helipads and new security fencing.

The Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=16441.
