Bureau of Reclamation Seeks Public Comments on Proposed Fish Barrier in Spring Creek

PHOENIX - Reclamation is proposing construction of a fish barrier in Spring Creek, Yavapai County, Arizona. The proposed project would be located within the Coconino National Forest north of the town of Cornville. Following construction, federally-endangered spikedace and Gila topminnow would be stocked in Spring Creek, upstream of the fish barrier, with consideration given to stocking other federally listed fish, amphibians and semi-aquatic species.

Reclamation is seeking public input to aid in the identification of key issues and possible alternatives related to the proposed project that should be considered in an upcoming environmental assessment.
