Reclamation Announces Yellowtail Dam/Bighorn Lake Fall-Winter Operations and Bighorn River System Issues Group Meeting

BILLINGS, Mont. -- The Bureau of Reclamation will present water supply conditions in the Bighorn Basin and discuss the agency's proposed fall/winter operating plan for Yellowtail Dam/Bighorn Lake at a public meeting on Thur., Nov. 7. Additionally, the Bighorn River System Issues Group will discuss the river and reservoir aquatic health and operating criteria for Yellowtail Dam.

The meeting will be held in the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 2021 4th Ave. North in Billings, beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding about 3 p.m. Fall-Winter operations discussions will begin at 9 a.m. and continuing in the afternoon with the Issues Group meeting.

Stakeholders and interested parties in both Montana and Wyoming are encouraged to attend the meeting and participate in the discussions.
