MILLS, Wyo. -- The Bureau of Reclamation is providing notice that the North Platte River Water Information Meeting scheduled for October 9 in Torrington, Wyo. has been postponed due to the lapse of Federal appropriations.
Coleman Smith, Wyoming Area Manager, said; "While this meeting is important to provide the public information regarding Reclamation's North Platte River operations, it is not considered a critical function during the Government shutdown."
When the lapse in appropriations has been resolved, a public notice will be issued to announce the new meeting date.
