Reclamation Cancels Events at New Melones Lake

SONORA, Calif. – Due to the federal government shutdown, the following events planned at New Melones Lake have been cancelled:
C.A.S.T. (Catch a Special Thrill) for Kids fishing event scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Melones Lake’s Tuttletown Boat Launch in the Tuttletown Recreation Area.
Melones Branch of the Sierra Railway, Sunday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. Peoria Wildlife Management Area 4-mile roundtrip hike beginning at the Peoria Wildlife Equestrian Staging Area on Peoria Flat Road.
