New Melones Lake Marina Closure

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation announces that the concession operated New Melones Lake Marina at New Melones Lake in Sonora, Calif., will be closed beginning Monday, October 7, due to the federal government shutdown.

All government operated recreation areas and facilities including boat launching, day use, campground, trails, RV dump stations, restrooms and visitor center have been closed since October 1.

Marina customers should contact New Melones Lake Marina at 209-785-3300, for emergency access to privately owned boats in slips.
