Reclamation Continues Negotiations with the City of Tracy for Interim Renewal of its Long-Term Central Valley Project Water Service Contract

FRESNO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation is continuing negotiations with the city of Tracy to negotiate terms and conditions for interim renewal of its water service contract for water from the Central Valley Project, consistent with Section 3404(c) of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act.

The city of Tracy has an existing water supply contract that provides for the delivery of project water from the Delta-Mendota Canal, a feature of the Central Valley Project through Dec. 31, 2013. This interim renewal contract will also replace Contract No. 14-06-200-4305A-IR13B and Contract No. 7-07-20-W0045-IR13B, currently held by the city of Tracy. 

The negotiation session will be held:

Note: This meeting may be postponed due to a lapse of federal appropriations.  

The public is welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to comment.
