Public Meeting Scheduled on Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2014

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Reclamation will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, to present information and solicit comments on the Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2014. The meeting will be held in:

Sacramento
Wednesday, August 7
1 to 4 p.m.
California State University, Sacramento, Willow Suites 1 and 2
3020 State University Drive East, Modoc Hall, Sacramento, CA  95819

At the meeting, presentations will be made on the following:

  • CVPIA Fisheries Revisioning:                                                                         
  • Anadromous Fish Restoration Program – Section 3406(b)(1) 
  • Spawning and Rearing Habitat Restoration Program – Section 3406(b)(13)    
  • Dedicated Project Yield Program – Section 3406(b)(2)                                   
  • Comprehensive Assessment and Monitoring – Section 3406(b)(16)   
  • Refuge Water Supply, Conveyance, and Construction Program

A 30-day comment period will commence immediately after the presentation. Comments must be submitted by close of business, Monday, September 9, 2013 to Anna Sutton, Reclamation, Division of Resources Management, at 916-978-5214 or email asutton@usbr.gov. The Draft CVPIA Annual Work Plans for FY 2014 are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/index.html and will be available in hard copy at the meeting.
