Reclamation Announces Negotiations to Transfer Operations and Maintenance of the Rock Slough Fish Screen to the Contra Costa Water District

TRACY, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation announced today it will begin negotiations with the Contra Costa Water District on the terms and conditions for the transfer of operations and maintenance of the Fish Screen facility located at Rock Slough.

The proposed action would amend Contra Costa Water District’s existing Agreement No. 14-06-200-6072A entitled “Memorandum of Agreement Relating to Details of Transfer of Operations and Maintenance of Contra Costa Canal System” to include the Contra Costa Fish Screen structure and associated facilities located at Rock Slough. The session will be held on:

9 a.m. to noon.

The public is invited to attend and will have the opportunity to comment. Participation instructions will be provided at the beginning of the session along with the pertinent documents.
