Reclamation Seeks Public Comment on the Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency Sacramento River Settlement Contract

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today announced the availability of the draft Sacramento River Settlement Contract between the United States and the Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency, Diverter of Water from Sacramento River Sources, Settling Water Rights Disputes.

The contract is intended to recognize the water right changes and the terms and conditions in the Amended Water Right Licenses resulting from the assignment and conveyance of 10,000 acre-feet of Sacramento River water, diverted under Water Right Licenses 904 and 5487 from the Conaway Preservation Group, LLC to the Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency. The assignment was approved by the State Water Resources Control Board on December 21, 2012 and Conaway’s Water Right Licenses were amended to reflect the assignment.
