Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for Three Habitat Acquisition and Enhancement Projects

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation today released final environmental documents for three habitat acquisition and enhancement projects partially funded by the Central Valley Project Conservation Program and the Central Valley Project Improvement Act Habitat Restoration Program. 

  • Reclamation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service provided $827,720 to Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department to facilitate cattle grazing management on serpentine soils at Santa Teresa County Park in San Jose, Calif., to support threatened and endangered species.
  • Reclamation and FWS provided $411,339 to acquire 197.5 acres of land to protect endangered species within Pixley National Wildlife Refuge in Tulare County.
  • Reclamation and FWS provided $983,537 to help acquire the 1,615-acre Stubblefield Ranch property to protect several San Joaquin Valley threatened and endangered species.
