Draft Environmental Document Released on Upper Truckee River and Marsh Restoration Project in El Dorado County

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review and comment a draft environmental document for the proposed implementation of a stream restoration project on the Upper Truckee River in El Dorado County, Calif.
Under the National Environmental Policy Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, Article VII of the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact, and Chapter 5 of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Code of Ordinances, Reclamation, the California Tahoe Conservancy and TRPA have developed a Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Statement for the Upper Truckee River and Marsh Restoration Project.
Two public hearings to receive oral and written comments will be held in:
Stateline, Nevada
Wednesday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 27
9:30 a.m.

The CTC is managing the project and Reclamation is providing grant funds to the CTC for preparation of the environmental document.
