NAPA, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has finalized the Environmental Assessment and signed a Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed water and wastewater treatment upgrades and expansion by the Napa Berryessa Resort Improvement District, located in Napa County, Calif. The draft EA was released for public comment on January 28, 2013.

The purpose of the proposed action is to grant the District a land-use agreement for the expansion of wastewater ponds and the acceptance of proposed improvements to the District’s water and wastewater systems under existing land-use agreements with Reclamation. The District’s proposed improvements will allow the District to meet the standards of regulating agencies and meet current and future needs of the customers within the District’s boundaries by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water and wastewater systems.
