Reclamation Releases Environmental Document on Lahontan State Recreation Area Aquatic Invasive Species Wash Station

CARSON CITY, Nev. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review an Environmental Assessment on allowing Nevada State Parks to construct a watercraft decontamination station for aquatic invasive species, to be located at the Silver Springs entrance station to the Lahontan State Recreation Area. The Lahontan State Recreation Area is located approximately 18 miles west of Fallon, Nev., and 45 miles east of Carson City. The project area is south of Silver Springs, off US Highway 95 Alt.
The EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and may be viewed online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=12350.
