Hoover Dam Visitor Center To Remain Open on Remembrance Day For Former President Reagan

Hoover Dam Visitor Center To Remain Open on Remembrance Day For Former President Reagan
While Bureau of Reclamation offices will be closed on Friday, June 11, Hoover Dam and its visitor facilities will remain open for public tours.
The day was designated as a national day of mourning by President George W. Bush to honor former President Ronald Reagan, who died last weekend. But national parks and visitor centers, such as the one at Hoover Dam, will be open for visitation.
Hoover Dam is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Saving Time). Covered parking is available at $5 per vehicle from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket sales begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m.
Hoover Dam is located 35 miles southeast of Las Vegas on Highway 93.
