Reclamation Announces New Interim Marina Contract at New Melones Lake

SONORA, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation announces that a two-year interim concession contract for the New Melones Lake Marina will be in place beginning Jan. 1, 2013, through Dec. 31, 2014. This interim concession contract is being implemented to bridge the gap between expiration of the existing long-term concession contract, which expires on Dec. 31, 2012, until a new long-term concession contract can be advertised and awarded through a competitive bidding process.
Throughout the term of this interim concession contract, all current marina services and operations will continue to be available, including wet slips for houseboats and pleasure boats; rental of houseboats, pleasure boats, kayaks and paddle boards; boat fueling and wastewater pump-out stations; and marina convenience store.
