Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for Ivanhoe Irrigation District Control System

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation today released final environmental documents for the Ivanhoe Irrigation District Control System Project – 69 Main WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grant. Reclamation will provide a $300,000 grant to the District, located in Tulare County, for installation of control system equipment, three pumps and associated construction work.

Under the WaterSMART program, Reclamation provides cost-share funding on a competitive basis for water conservation and energy efficiency projects. The Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were released for a 15-day public comment period from Nov.14, 2012, to Nov. 28, 2012. No comments were received.
