WASHINGTON - The Bureau of Reclamation has awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for the Electronic Drawing Repository and Automated Workflow Solution, eDRAWS, to BlueCielo ECM Solutions, Inc., of Atlanta that is valued up to $35 million and will be available to all nine Interior bureaus. eDRAWS will store and search a minimum of 100 million scientific, engineering, architectural or other technical drawing records and files including metadata and associated dependent information.

Reclamation has also awarded the initial task order against this contract for $2,234,254. BlueCielo will now begin work to convert several different drawing platforms into one uniform solution for Reclamation.

"Combining several different drawing solutions into one that uses the latest technology will provide a good platform to store and manage drawings and will offer a better value for taxpayers," said Reclamation Commissioner Michael L. Connor. "In conjunction with Interior's IT Transformation effort, this project will elevate Reclamation’s technology and the efficiency of how our business is conducted."

This contract supports Interior’s strategic plan to transform its information technology operations for the 21st century. The plan identifies an initial set of high priority IT services as part of the transformation process, including a single email system for the department, telecommunications, account management, hosting services, workplace computing services, risk management and an enterprise service desk.
