FIREBAUGH, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released final environmental documents for the Firebaugh Canal Water District 2nd Lift Canal Project, a Bay-Delta Restoration Program: Agricultural Water Conservation and Efficiency Grant Project. The EA/FONSI were released for a 15-day public review on September 5, 2012; no comments were received.

The Project entails Reclamation providing grant funding for the concrete lining of 2.2 miles of canal to reduce seepage.
