Reclamation to Hold Public Workshops on Implementation of Drainage Service and Field Exploration Needs in the Westlands Water District

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation will hold two informational public workshops in June 2012 for Westlands Water District landowners and other interested parties regarding the status on the implementation of drainage service within the Westlands Water District as well as field exploration needs that will require landowner cooperation.

At the workshops, updated plans for general engineering design and layout configurations will be presented. In addition, the nature of on-site field exploration needs, activities, and duration, as well as right of entry permits will be explained. Field exploration is a necessary precursor to providing drainage service to participating landowners.
