Reclamation Releases Environmental Documents for an Intake and Fish Screen Project on the Sacramento River

The Bureau of Reclamation today released draft environmental documents for Reclamation District 2035 and Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency’s Joint Intake and Fish Screen Project on the Sacramento River near Woodland, California.

Reclamation would provide up to 50 percent of the funding for the project through its Anadromous Fish Screen Program to replace the unscreened intake with a new screened intake, which will have the same capacity of 400 cubic feet per second. The Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and is available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=9544.
