"These architectural-engineering contracts allow Reclamation to seek private sector assistance to support Reclamation's work in water management," said Connor. "These contracts allow Reclamation to keep its workforce at a manageable level while creating job opportunities in the private sector."

Areas covered by these contracts are civil engineering services; geotechnical services; mechanical engineering services; electrical engineering services; water and environmental science services; engineering, inspection and technical support services; risk analysis, dam safety and security services; and consultant review boards.
