The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a contract negotiation session with the Sacramento County Water Agency on contract terms and conditions of their existing assignment of Central Valley Project water (American River Division) from the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District.

The contract will be negotiated to reflect existing law and policy governing Reclamation water service contracts. The goal of the negotiation is to arrive at a mutually agreeable long-term contract. The session is scheduled:

Folsom, Calif.
Monday, April 23, 2012, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Central California Area Office
7794 Folsom Dam Road

Due to security requirements, individuals are asked to preregister by Thursday, April 19, 2012, by contacting Lucille Billingsley, Supervisory Repayment Specialist, Central California Area Office, at 916-989-7121 (TTY 916-989-7285) or lbillingsley@usbr.gov. Attendees will be required to show a photo ID in order to obtain a visitor’s badge.

The public is welcome to attend the session and will have the opportunity to provide comments to Reclamation regarding this contracting action; participation instructions will be available at the session. The proposed contract and other pertinent documents will also be available at the session.
