Final Environmental Documents Released on Partial Assignment of 4,000 Acre-Feet of Oro Loma Water District Water to Westlands Water District

The Bureau of Reclamation today released a Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (EA/FONSI) for the partial assignment of 4,000 acre-feet of Oro Loma Water District’s Central Valley Project water to Westlands Water District.

The Draft EA/FONSI were released for a 30-day public review on December 30, 2011. Comments have been addressed in the Final EA.

The Final EA/FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=8801.
