Draft Environmental Documents Available for Partial Assignment of 4,000 Acre-Feet of Oro Loma Water District’s CVP Water to Westlands Water District

The Bureau of Reclamation has made available the draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for partial assignment of 4,000 acre-feet (AF) of Oro Loma Water District’s Central Valley Project (CVP) water service contract to Westlands Water District. In turn, Oro Loma Water District’s existing CVP water service contract would be amended to a quantity of 600 AF. 

The districts are near each other on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley in Fresno County (both districts) and Kings County (Westlands). 

The draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=8801.
