Second Negotiation Session Scheduled with the Placer County Water Agency for an Interim Renewal Water Service Contract

The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a second contract negotiation session with the Placer County Water Agency to develop an interim renewal water service contract. The existing water service contract expires December 31, 2011. The interim contract will be developed consistent with Section 3404(c) of Public Law 102-575.

Contract negotiation terms and conditions will be based on similar terms for interim renewal contracts negotiated within the Central Valley Project and the American River Division.

The negotiation session will be held:

Folsom, Calif.
Friday, November 18, 1-3 p.m.
Bureau of Reclamation
Central California Area Office
7794 Folsom Dam Road

Due to security requirements, individuals are asked to pre-register by noon on Thursday, November 17, by contacting Lucille Billingsley at 916-989-7121 (TTY 916-989-7285) or lbillingsley@usbr.gov. Attendees will be required to show a photo ID in order to obtain a visitor?s badge and will sign in at the Administration Building.

The public is welcome to attend the negotiation and will have the opportunity to provide comments to Reclamation regarding this contracting action; participation instructions will be available at the negotiation session. The proposed contract and other pertinent documents will also be available at the session.
