Releases from Tiber Dam to Increase

BILLINGS, MONT. -- Tiber Reservoir is reaching the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's target elevation of 3011.0 feet. To help control the flood pool rate-of-fill, releases from Tiber Dam to the Marias River will be gradually increased from the current rate of approximately 1,430 cubic feet per second (cfs) beginning the morning of Tuesday, July 19, to approximately 2,500 cfs by late Wednesday afternoon, July 20.

River recreationists are encouraged to watch for additional announcements as further increases are likely in the coming weeks.
