The work is scheduled to begin July 27 and be completed by August 31. State Highway 61 will be closed at Enders Dam for the duration of construction. Traffic will be detoured via gravel roads to the east of Enders Dam. Truck traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes.

Enders Dam, located 7 miles southeast of Imperial, NE is a feature of the Frenchman-Cambridge Division, providing flood control for areas downstream of the dam, irrigation water, fish and wildlife conservation enhancement, and recreational opportunities.
