Bureau of Reclamation Seeks Public Comments on Proposed Fish Barrier in Redfield Canyon

The Bureau of Reclamation has issued a draft Environmental Assessment to solicit public comments on a proposal to construct a fish barrier in a remote section of Redfield Canyon, Graham County, Arizona. The site of the proposed fish barrier is 32 miles north of Benson, Arizona.

The action is intended to protect populations of endangered Gila chub, threatened loach minnow, and threatened spikedace that occupy portions of the Redfield Canyon drainage.
