For Release: April 08, 2011

The federal government is facing a potential lapse in appropriations as of midnight tonight. Should  Congress be unable to reach an agreement on the budget by Monday, April 11, 2011, the Bureau of Reclamation's Mid-Pacific Region will be required to postpone several public meetings currently scheduled during the coming weeks. After Congress reaches agreement on the budget, the meetings which were not held may be rescheduled. At that time, Reclamation will provide information on new meeting dates as appropriate.
