Marias River Flows Below Tiber Dam to Fluctuate

BILLINGS, MONT. -- Tiber Montana LLC recently completed replacement of the turbine runner in the hydroelectric power plant located at Tiber Dam. To facilitate efficiency testing of the new runner, releases through the power plant to the Marias River will fluctuate between 500 cfs and 750 cfs over a 4-hour period on Dec 8. Upon completion of the test, releases to the Marias River will be returned to the current rate of 500 cfs and maintained at that rate until further notice.
