POSTPONED: Reclamation to Reschedule Fourth Workshop on Draft Municipal and Industrial Water Shortage Policy for the Central Valley Project

The Bureau of Reclamation has postponed the last of four stakeholder workshops that had been scheduled on the Central Valley Project (CVP) draft Municipal & Industrial (M&I) Water Shortage Policy (WSP). Reclamation will announce a new workshop date as soon as information becomes available.

The purpose of the workshops is to discuss and receive input from CVP water contractors, local and regional agencies, interest groups, and others on the existing draft M&I WSP and to formulate a plan to move forward on the potential modification of the existing policy or the development of a new policy.

The workshops were scheduled at the Red Lion Hotel in Sacramento on the following dates.

Workshop 1, Wednesday, May 26 Workshop 2, Wednesday, June 23 Workshop 3, Tuesday, July 20 Postponed-Workshop 4, Thursday, August 19

The public has been invited to attend any or all sessions and has the opportunity to comment. Information about the workshops is available at www.usbr.gov/mp/cvp/mandi.
