Bureau of Reclamation issues Finding of No Significant Impact on Rehabilitation of San Carlos Project Facilities

The Bureau of Reclamation has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact on planned Phase 1 rehabilitation of San Carlos Irrigation Project Facilities near the Town of Florence, Pinal County, Arizona. The project includes repair of Ashurst-Hayden Diversion Dam and construction of a sediment processing and storage facility adjacent to the headworks of the Florence-Casa Grande Canal. A draft Environmental Assessment was released for public review on June 28, 2010. Reclamation received three comment letters.
