The Bureau of Reclamation is pleased to announce that all Reclamation-operated recreation facilities at Lake Berryessa as well as four concession areas will be open for public use this Memorial Day weekend and continuing through the 2010 recreation season. Reclamation-operated facilities include Oak Shores Day Use Area, Smittle Creek Day Use Area, Eticuera Creek Day Use Area, and Capell Cove Boat Launch.

Open concession areas include Markley Cove Marina, which will continue to provide boat launching, boat slip rentals, and overnight lodging as in previous years. Forever Resorts' Pleasure Cove Marina will offer boat launching, boat slip rentals, and day use areas as well as overnight camping, RV sites, and cabins. Forever Resorts will also manage camping at the temporary campground within Reclamation's Oak Shores Recreation Area. Pensus Lake Berryessa Properties, LLC (Pensus LBP) will offer parking and boat launching at Lupine Shores (formerly Steele Park) and boat launching, day use, and RV and tent camping at Chaparral Cove (formerly Putah Creek).

Facilities at the newly opened Chaparral Cove concession area will be limited to primitive camping and day use with portable restrooms and no power, potable water, or other services. No BBQs or picnic tables will be provided, but campers will be permitted to bring self-contained BBQs and fire pits. A pump-out service will be available for RVs.

The public is asked to contact the individual concession operators for specific information and reservations:
