Reclamation Releases Draft EA/FONSI for the South Santa Clara County Recycled Water Master Plan Project

The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review and comment the Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (EA/FONSI) for the Short-Term Phase I Component of the South Santa Clara County Recycled Water Master Plan Project. This project, authorized through Title XVI of Public Law 102-575, as amended, is being funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and will be constructed, owned, operated, and maintained by the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD).
The SCVWD and the South County Regional Wastewater Authority are implementing the South Santa Clara County Recycled Water Master Plan and Project to expand the existing recycled water system to provide recycled water to landscape, agricultural, and industrial users in the Cities of Gilroy and Morgan Hill areas.
The Draft EA/FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available online. If you encounter problems accessing the documents online, please call at 916-978-5100 or e-mail mpPublicAffairs@usbr.gov.
