The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have completed the Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Intake Diversion Modification. Reclamation and the Corps will: (1) evaluate the information contained in the Final EA to determine whether it is accurate and objective; (2) determine whether the proposed action would significantly impact the quality of the human environment; and, (3) determine whether an Environmental Impact Statement will be prepared or a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) document will be issued.

The Executive Summary of the EA is available in hardcopy and the main report, appendices and supporting documents are included on a compact disk. All of the documents are available at Reclamation's website: http://www.usbr.gov/gp/mtao/loweryyellowstone/index.html. Persons interested in obtaining a hardcopy of the EA should contact Alicia Waters at 701-221-1206 or by E-mail at AWaters@usbr.gov.
