Reclamation Employee Yuliana Porras Mendoza Featured in Spring Issue of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Magazine

Bureau of Reclamation employee Yuliana Porras Mendoza was recently featured in the spring 2010 issue of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. The article Porras Mendoza is featured in highlights Latina engineers in government.

In her interview with author Leilani Rangel, Porras Mendoza highlights what engineers do in Reclamation, the steps Reclamation is taking to attract and retain a diverse workforce, and the opportunities Reclamation has provided her.

Porras Mendoza is a Chemical Engineer in Reclamation's Technical Service Center in Denver, Colo., and serves as Chairwomen of the Diversity and Recruitment Committee for the Technical Service Center.
