Reclamation Continues Contract Renewal Negotiations with the California Department of Fish and Game for Use of San Joaquin River Water at the San Joaquin Fish Hatchery

The Bureau of Reclamation will continue its negotiations to renew the water service contract with the State of California Department of Fish and Game for use of San Joaquin River water from Friant Dam. The State-owned San Joaquin Fish Hatchery (Hatchery) located downstream of the dam will draw water from Friant Dam and return the water to the San Joaquin River. The contract renewal will establish the terms and conditions for the Hatchery to continue receiving the water. The negotiation meeting will be held in:

Fresno, Monday, October 19, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reclamation, South-Central California Area Office 1243 N Street

The public is welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to provide comments. Participation instructions will be provided before the session's beginning, and the proposed contract and other pertinent documents will be available at the session.
