Reclamation Announces Initiation of Negotiations for Cawelo Water District's Long-Term Conveyance Contract

The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a negotiation session with Cawelo Water District to discuss contract terms and conditions for conveyance of previously banked non-Central Valley Project water.  The water would be conveyed via Friant-Kern Canal through Cross Valley Canal and a series of exchanges with California State Water Project contractors for delivery to Alameda County Flood Control District Zone 7, for municipal and industrial purposes.  The goal of the negotiation is to arrive at a mutually agreeable long-term contract.  The negotiation session will be held:
