Bureau of Reclamation Seeks Public Comments on Proposed Fish Barrier on Blue River

Reclamation is proposing construction of a fish barrier, removal of nonnative fishes, and restoration of native fishes in the lower 11-mile reach of the Blue River, on the Clifton Ranger District, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Greenlee County, Arizona. The action is intended to protect existing and newly reintroduced threatened and endangered fish species.

Before an environmental assessment is prepared, input from the public is desired to aid in the identification of key issues and possible alternatives related to the proposed action that should be addressed in the EA.
